It’s no secret that I love purple. I am also a big fan of matte eye shadows lately. If you want to create a dramatic long-lasting look matte eyeshadow is the way to go. This beautiful deep matte purple shade named Fatal from Illamasqua was a home run for me. This is my first experience with Illamasqua shadows and it won’t be my last. This is a heavily pigmented shade which makes it perfect for my skin tone. I was afraid this might be too powdery but it’s not. It smooths on beautifully after eye primer and I’m a fan of the packaging as well. I took some pictures of Fatal on my finger and on my hand so you can see this color a few different ways.

I look forward to trying more eye shadow shades from Illamasqua. This one was beautiful! They are available at Sephora for $20 each.

The new Illamasqua Toxic Nature Collection for Spring/Summer 2011 is worth a look:) They have some beautiful images to go along with the new products in the collection. It’s not what I am used to seeing or creating for myself makeup wise, but I think they really go all out and I like that!
