Inglot The Power of Matte Palette

Inglot is amazing. When I saw them at a recent event without a crazy line I had to step up and see if they had this palette. I think I saw it on a YouTube video, I can’t remember now but when the helpful Inglot employee handed it over I was sold.

I have another Inglot palette. It’s full of shadows that I picked out myself. I love the shades but I did get quite a bit of shimmer. I like shimmer don’t get me wrong but what can I say, I am going through a matte phase. The pigmentation on Inglot shadows is just about unmatched. I can’t think of another brand that I’ve come across that has a higher level of pigmentation. With the lightest swipe of my finger I can always count on my digit being covered in the most pigmented eyeshadow ever. Trust me I swatch a LOT of shadows. To be fair some people find these shadows to be powdery. I always do my eye makeup before the rest of my face so a little fall out doesn’t bother me. And there is a little fall out. Nothing crazy, just about the same as other brands.

The only issue I have with this palette is its construction. It’s unfortunate really. The little silver magnets in the clear top cover keep falling out. I have three left out of four. For the life of me I can’t find the little silver magnet that belongs in the top right hand corner. They fall out and I do the floor crawl to find out where the heck the tiny silver thingy went. Ugghhh. The day is going to come where I lose so many I can’t close this thing. I am predicting a makeup meltdown. So I love the shadow, not a fan of the packaging/palette construction. This palette was $137 at the Makeup Show in Chicago.

Inglot is online now in case you haven’t heard at www.inglotusa.com. I recommend the eyeshadows and lipgloss!

I think it’s a bit much to drop all at once, but if you think about what you’re getting it’s really not that much. I counted 35 shades in this palette. If that were a MAC palette, you would be paying $385. I don’t know how much this particular palette is normally, but I know that their 40 pan customizable palette is $180. That’s $4.50 per eyeshadow. That’s drugstore pricess.. heck, that might even be less than drug store prices.. and the product is amazing.

I want, I want, I want. I missed IMATS Pasadena this year, though I had tickets. *sigh* And this was one of the things I wanted. Right now I have 5 Inglot palettes. LOL But this is definitely worth it.

I would love to try Inglot too…heard so many good things about it. $137 is a little pricey for me…I would probably get a small palette (if I lived near Inglot)…I guess that’s good that I don’t :(
