Mac Eyeshadows: Mythical, Sparkle Neely Sparkle, Carbonized, and Satin Taupe

Mythical, Sparkle Neely Sparkle, Carbonized, and Satin Taupe

Recently I got a few shadows from the Mac Me Over release and one from the Bloggers Obsessions Collection. I have to say they were some of the best things I have gotten from Mac since my holy grail Pro Longwear Foundation came out. All of these colors are beautiful and I can’t stop using them. They all get perfect marks across the board as being extremely useful and great additions to my makeup stash.

Mythical- This is a beautiful frosty copper-red shade. I love the veluxe pearl finish. It’s smooth and easy to blend. This is super pigmented which I like but I had to be careful with it because one day I looked like I had pennies on my eyelids!

Sparkle Neely, Sparkle- Everyone was right about how pretty this is on deeper skin tones. It’s described as a deep rusty-brown with champagne glitter. I guess I’d agree but it’s not that deep. I love this alone on my eyelids. It’s sparkly but to much. Just perfect. It blends into my skin tone really well.

Carbonized- This is kind of my favorite out of the bunch. It’s a deep frosty brown color. It looks great by itself but it pairs beautifully with pinks. I used this with Urban Decay’s Toasted from the Naked Palette for instance. It reminds me of Hustle in the Naked Palette. There is a lot I can do with this color and its one of those shades that you can’t go wrong with.

Satin Taupe- Speaking of being able to do a lot with a color this one is amazing. It’s a silvery taupe shade that blends really well and I can see why a ton of people like it. Its frosty but in a good way and I can’t believe I haven’t come across this color before. It’s a must have if you’re a Mac eyeshadow collector. It mixes well with purples, browns, and pinks just to name a few colors I’ve tried it with.
