Chanel Taboo #583 Le Vernis, $27

I love a complicated nail color from Chanel. I usually pick up one color at least from each seasonal release. Because they just kill me with their shades. Well this one made me crazy when I first saw it. I love the sparkle in there it looks like the final frontier! I had to pick it up. I went to Nordstrom online and it was backordered. So here’s the issue. You can only see the red/purple/silver glitter flakes close up. I know they are there and I love this color but there are going to be people that wish this color was more obviously interesting. It’s understated and pretty in a way that not many are going to see. I’m ok with that. In the above left picture this looks like any other deep purplish shade. But on the right side (above) you can see the red and other color specs in sunlight. You might need to click on the picture to blow it up to see.

I like it but thats just me the Chanel nail color fanatic talking!
