When my nails are a mess (breaking and hard to deal with) I just trim them and look for a glitter polish! I love glitter more on my short nails than when my nails are longer. So I decided to break out an OPI polish from the Nicki Minaj collection called Metallic 4 Life. Please excuse the teeth marks around the top of this polish in the picture on the right. I gotta learn to open the bottle before I start my manicure, sometimes the bottle is hard to open and I gotta use my teeth.

BTW…I’m going to the dentist today and I just know he’s gonna get me. One of my teeth has been hurting since last week and you know what that means. He’s gonna take it. I know this. I used to work for a dentist in high school and I’ve been scared of them ever since.

I did a base coat, two coats of color, and a top coat. I really had trouble with this polish. Its really thick! I usually can use glitter polishes from most brands right out of the bottle. This was thick and kind of lumpy. I didn’t break out my nail thinner but next time I might. This also needed that top coat to make the nail surface smoother. I love the way it looks though. I saw this last weekend (the whole collection) at Ulta so its still out there if you’d like to try it.
