Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain-Smitten, $9.99 at CVS

I gave these a rough review when they came out but I must say I was wayyyy too harsh. They are somewhat drying to my lips but thats just what happens with my lips. They are very greedy moisture sucking lips! So much surface area requires a vat of moisture who knew? But so many people love these and now I do also. I just reapply often every 3-4 hours to keep the moisture going. If you are like me and worry about moisture loss I have a fix that seems to help me. After taking a Kissable Balm Stain off my lips I put a thick layer of balm on to fight the after effect. My lips want to flip out (peel yikes!) after this balm but they can’t because the clear balm I apply after holds em down!

There is something great about a stain. If you are a talker, drinker, or lip product eater you know what I mean. Lip colors that leave are the enemy. With a stain your lip color doesn’t disappear but something about that is drying for lips like mine. Sometimes though its worth it to babysit something as beautiful as this. Considering the price point and gorgeous color I’ll give this line of products a pass. I won’t hate on these anymore!

This is a great Fall/Winter color because its berry beautiful! It’s just the right shade. It’s not to light or too dark a berry. Revlon is buy one, get one 50% off this week at CVS so even if you can’t get it now look out for it next time you see a sale! These Balm Stains aren’t going anywhere so if you haven’t snapped one up DO IT but just remember there is time. No limited edition foolishness!

I wore this color today. Out of the balm stains, this one is my favorite. I’m smitten for ‘Smitten’. I like that I can put on at 8am and at 8pm, the color is still there. I can rock with that!!
