I have gotten a lot of questions about these new Shadow Sticks from Rimmel. I have seen displays at Ulta and now at the drugstore and now I can officially say you need one. It’s going to help your eyes look sexy and sultry in thirty seconds flat.
There are nine shades and I’ve swatched them all! Remember you can click on a pic to blow it UP!
Guilty Grey, Bulletproof Beige, Bad Girl Bronze, Gossip Green, and Blackmail
Tempting Turquoise, Blamed Blue, Paranoid Purple, and Witness White
These colors are great as all over eyeshadows and as eye liners. In all the pictures I didn’t use primer so the pigmentation is out of this world isn’t it? These are bold pretty shades that I’m going to have on top of my makeup vanity. I like these way better than my NYX pencils. They are easier to work with because of the creamy texture. I hate using a pencil and having my lid look like a spotty mess after I’m done. That is not going to happen with these! I have been using my Shadow Sticks alone, as liner, and along with powder shadows. I love the precision you can apply these with after sharpening. Smoky eye looks are THE BEST with these and easy to create.
I always use eye primer with these and but it’s nice that after application you have a little play time. You can smudge these around and blend your eye look before they set.
I love the color selection but some colors are going to get more use than others. I love Guilty Grey, its my smoky love thang! Bulletproof Beige is the perfect inner eye highlight shade. I predict its going to be a top seller. The shade I’ve used the most is Bad Girl Bronze. It’s the one I’m going to use up first guaranteed. My favorite shade overall is Blamed Blue. It’s teal and the most beautiful color ever. If you like teal at all GET THIS. I’m not in love with Gossip Green. It’s too frosty for me. Witness White is a bit of a let down also. It’s a frosty white color that I’d prefer as a more matte shade to compete with NYX’s Milk. I’d love it if I could get a creamy white matte pencil. Maybe this is only the beginning. I could use you know like ten more Rimmel colors!
At around $5 these are worth checking out. Just try one and you might be hooked! Let me know if you’ve picked one of these up yet.
