This Just In: Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream, Corrector, and Creamy Concealer Set
I tried this “system” out at Saks with the help of a really nice Bobbi Brown associate. I was so happy with the results that I picked all three products up. I’m going to be testing all three items out over the next few days to make sure it’s a good fit for me and my eye baggage. Used all together the products produced a startling result, not a trace of under eye darkness! These products can be purchased separately though at your favorite Bobbi Brown counter or online. I just happened to like all three.
I do need to see how natural this looks when used with all my favorite foundation colors from different brands. I’ll let you know what I think soon!
Step 1:
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream ($46/.50 oz.)- This should be tapped gently around the eye area. You should wait for this to absorb into your skin before moving on to Step 2.
Step 2:
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Very Deep Bisque ($22/.05 oz.)- This corrector will neutralize my under eye discoloration. This looked sort of peachy/orange when placed under my eyes. At first I thought why do I need this but it really takes away the grayness under your eyes and brightens the whole area but you wouldn’t want to stop here with this step. It’s too bright! There are 12 different corrector shades available.
Step 3:
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit in Almond ($32)- Conceal (left side) and set your look with pressed powder (right side) with this kit. I love the color match and the powder on the right is impressive, trust me. I was worried about the lightness of the powder against my skin tone but it’s perfect. There are 14 different Creamy Concealer Kit shades available.
Bobbi Brown Cosmic Pink Lip Gloss
This gloss is from the Neon’s and Nudes Collection. I love Bobbi’s glosses but I was disappointed in this one. Its called Cosmic Pink and its kind of a weak pink. Its pretty in the tube though…
I think this would be a great fit for someone that wasn’t into bright bold color like I am. To be fair Cosmic Pink ($23) is described as a sheer pink gloss so I got exactly what they advertised BUT when you look at the picture above don’t you think the sheer version of that would still have some color? Ok maybe that’s just my messed up thought process. Anyway its really sheer on the lips alright.
Lesson learned, I still am glad to keep it though. It’s as moisturizing as anything that I own and I love that.

Bobbi Brown Rose Gold Collection
Sometimes a collection stops me in my tracks. Especially if there is pink in the mix. Here are some pictures from a new Bobbi Brown Collection, Rose Gold. I liked the Neons & Nudes Collection and got two things from it. But this collection, this is IT! I don’t think Neons are wearable every day so this effort by Bobbi really moves me!
Take a look!
Rose Gold & Wild Rose Shimmer Bricks ($39 each)
Lip Gloss and Lipstick ($23 each)
Sorry I don’t have the colors labeled specifically. I saw that the Shimmer Bricks are up on the Nordstrom site but not the gloss and lipsticks. I just wanted you to have something to gaze at. This is so pretty. I am thinking I need to try my first ever Shimmer Brick in Wild Rose, the last dark gloss in the picture above, and the deep fuchsia lipstick. Just to show you guys, not because I want it or anything;) Ha!
Let me know if you’ve tried a Shimmer Brick before, I’m the last one to try one I think. I always see them at the CCO but I never have purchased.
Bobbi Brown Neon Pink Lipstick
I’m crazy in love with bright colors so this Spring’s overwhelming trend for brights has really had an effect on me already. I love Bobbi Brown and would you believe this is my first actual lipstick from the line? I couldn’t believe it myself when I hunted through my stash only to find that I have gloss but not lipstick from Bobbi Brown. My first color is a wild one! Neon Pink is something beautiful and bright. Even more importantly its comfortable to wear thank goodness. It has a gel-like easy to love texture to it.
There is a pretty orange shade available for Spring also and I’m thinking about getting it. This color really is something I am into. I have a thing for pink:) But the fact that this is so lightweight and easy to wear has me sold on it. This won’t be my last lipstick from Bobbi!
Rated A
The mix master in me already has Neon Pink paired with Pink Tulle High Shimmer Lip Gloss. These two are going to be FIRE together whoop!

Favorite Pink Blushes
1st Row Left to Right: Rock & Republic Kinky, Mac Dollymix, Bobbi Brown Apricot, Mac Amazon Princess
2nd Row Left to Right: Nars Desire, Nars Mata Hari, Mac Fashion Frenzy
I love pink blush, I thought I’d show you a few of my favorites today. These are the “pinks” that I use regularly and I love them all!
What I love about pink blush is that depending on how heavy-handed you are with it you can go from healthy looking to diva like and glamorous. Just a little pink blush makes you look healthy and slightly flushed like you just exercised. If you apply more pink blush with a heavier hand you can look kind of glamorous.
Do you have a favorite pink blush? Who makes it?
