Love this! I am not really familiar with the Buxom line but so many people that know about my lip gloss weakness have told me to try it. They were all right as usual. Especially the Instagram girls! This gloss is amazing. I love the little tingle when I put it on and the shine is outta this world!

Here’s the description from the Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals website:

Tingle, plump & shine your pout to super-sexy proportions. No shimmer, no glimmer-just creamy glass-smooth gloss, decadent color, intoxicating shine, and that famous Buxom tingle. Hyaluronic filling spheres infuse lips with moisture for creamy soft perfection while Vitamins A & E help keep lips soft, smooth and protected.

Cherry Flip lasts for many hours (4+ depending on what your doing) and is packed with moisture. You know how crazy I am about anything that dries out my lips. Dry lips aren’t sexy. Cherry Flip keeps my lips happy all day. It’s not overly sticky either. It just feels comfortable and moisturizing.

I don’t notice too much plumping but thats a good thing right? I got big lips as it is! I love the standard doe foot applicator and the packaging is cute. At $18 for .14 oz. this is a deal if your looking for a gloss that won’t let you down. I’ve heard from so many of you that you have a ton of these. The best place to take a look at the shade selection is Sephora. I have a few more colors to show you and I’ll try to get to that soon.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to try le métier de beaute but I’d like to know how these compare? Thanks.

I think the biggest difference is the shine! Both types of gloss (LMDB and Buxom) are smooth, comfortable to wear, have good pigmentation, and great staying power. I think they are both good to have but the LMDB is a serious luxury. $18 is a much better price point!

Hi Crystal…do these have that strong burnt caramel smell? I’ve purchased their glosses in the past and I loved the formula…but not so much the strong smell.

I don’t think mine smell burnt. They smell slightly minty to me and like candy. The only glosses that smell really bad to me are Nars. Those smell like toxic plastic! Ha!
