NOTD: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure-Mermaid’s Tale

Sally Hansen Mermaid’s Tale, $8.49 at CVS

NOTD: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mint Sorbet

I love the Xtreme Wear shades that I’ve got and so many of you recommended another good color Mint Sorbet. I was glad when I finally saw it at CVS last week! It was $3.49.

Sorry it’s a cloudy day here so my natural light is iffy.

I did a base coat, two coats of color, and a top coat. A few people on Instagram told me they had issues with this color. Let me know if you’ve got Mint Sorbet and if you ran into any problems. So far I love it!

I have a recent post (click here) with a roundup of my other Xtreme Wear favorites in case you missed them. I’ve seen the Xtreme Wear shades at Walmart, Target, and CVS in my area. If you haven’t tried one of these colors yet please consider it! I am getting excellent wear out of each shade and the colors are so pretty.

Let me know if you have another color I should try!

Favorites: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish Shades

The Real Teal, Violet Voltage, White On, and Pacific Blue

I’m late on the bandwagon for loving these Xtreme Wear polishes from Sally Hansen but now that I’ve gotten started I’m wondering what other colors I should be looking at. I’ve done four NOTD posts on the shades that I’ve tried so far.

Here are my NOTD posts in case you haven’t seen them:

The Real Teal

Violet Voltage

White On (I used White On for a DIY French Manicure)

Pacific Blue

Please let me know if there are some other shades I need to try. Since these polishes are between $2.49 (Target) and $3.49 (CVS) I would love to get some more!

Another pretty color from the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear line. Violet Voltage caught my eye at Target a few days ago. I think there are more Xtreme Wear shades at Target than at CVS. I never saw this pretty lavender color before. I love it! I did a base coat, two coats of Violet Voltage, and a top coat. For $2.49 this is a great buy.

Check this color out if you love purple…like me!

This pretty teal from Sally Hansen was $3.29 at CVS and I love it! I did a base coat, two coats of color, and a top coat. Check this color out along with some other great Xtreme wear colors at your favorite drugstore/Walmart. My number one favorite Xtreme Wear shade is Pacific Blue. If you don’t have that color get it. It’s amazin!

NOTD: Sally Hansen Magnetic Polar Purple

I picked up this Sally Hansen Magnetic polish and was so happy with the results! I followed the directions and started with a base coat (China Glaze) on my nails first. Then I put on one coat of Polar Purple all over my nails like a normal polish. Then I put on a thick coat (one nail at a time) and used the magnet on the top of the bottle. You hold the magnet over the polish for about ten seconds per nail. The end result is a fun pattern and a really nice finish. I put a top coat over my nails before taking the picture above but I think many people are going to love the finish without a top coat.

It’s only day two of my manicure but I’m in love. I got another Magnetic color, the green one since I loved the purple so much. It’s called Electric Emerald. There are quite a few colors to choose from. These aren’t too bad money wise either. I paid $8.99 per bottle. So check for these where ever you get Sally Hansen polishes. I’m really happy with it!

NOTD: Sally Hansen Gem Crush-Big Money

I love this glitter! It’s from Sally Hansen and the collection of Gem Crush colors came out a few months ago. I decided to pick this color out of all the rest because I have nothing like it. The fact that the polish is named Big Money didn’t hurt either! I did a base coat, two coats of glitter, and a top coat. I love how sparkly and over the top it is. This is not your every day manicure. Ha!

I purchased this at Ulta I think. I have seen the collection at drugstores as well. Check it out before its gone, I think its limited edition but I’m not positive.

NOTD: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue

When I confessed my weakness for blue nail polish recently several of you guys told me about this one….

This is my first Xtreme Wear polish and I really liked it. The formula is very thin so I did have to be careful. Overall I think its great though. I did a base coat, two coats of Pacific Blue, and a top coat. This polish was $3.49 at CVS!  So check it out at your local drugstore because I think its a great polish at a good price!

NOTD: Sally Hansen Salon Effects Strips #220 Cut It Out

I’ve had this pack of Sally Hansen nail strips in my drawer for months. I finally pulled them out today and slapped them on my nails! This was a really easy manicure to do. Basically the directions are simple. The design is a sticker you put on your nails after you find the right size for each nail. Then you file off the bottom of the sticker at the end of your nail tip. I put some top coat over the nail designs on each nail because I want this to last. Hopefully it lasts for a week!

This is around $12 at CVS but I had a coupon. I love it!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure: Midnight in NY

For months I’ve been stalking the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure shelf at my local CVS. They only have a few colors and none of them work for me. Big pouty face…..I have been wanting to try the polish because I like what I’ve heard about the formula but there never were any good colors on the shelf! Finally I found one. I didn’t do a full manicure but I had to show you this shade right away because its BEAUTIFUL and just in time to fit in with all my Fall purchases.

It’s called Midnight in NY so look for it, you won’t be disappointed.
