It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush-Pretty in Peony & Magical in Mauve
Blush lover that I am I get so excited trying new brands of blush and colors. I’ll put ANYTHING on my cheeks (no jokes please) because I love trying out blush colors so much. The thing I never expected is a blush stain. It’s a totally new idea in a powder form and it LASTS like no other. All darn day and into the night!
I love it when a company gives us a new take on a popular staple like blush.
Pretty in Peony and Magical in Mauve ($24, /.136 oz.’s)
I think blush is so important because it makes us all look way more lively than we do without it. I look kind of dead in the face without blush. I need some color! Take a look at the swatches of Pretty in Peony and Magical in Mauve on my skin.
Look at the sexy shimmer especially in Pretty in Peony. Remember to click on a picture if you’d like to see it bigger!

As if that wasn’t enough let me briefly tell you about THE BRUSH. The French Boutique Blush Brush is the softest blush brush that I have. It’s light as air and makes applying blush so easy! I love the angled shape. I’m trying to be light-hearted here but I’ll tell you right now you’d have to pry this out of my cold dead hand basically to get it away from me. Because I constantly use this brush every day now. I love it.
French Boutique Blush Brush ($34.50-cruelty free!)
I first came across It Cosmetics on QVC. You can take a look at all their products there (check out the video presentations of products you are interested in) or on www.itcosmetics.com. I have two other posts you can take a look at also. The Pretty in Amber Eye Trio is one of my favorites as well as the Vitality Lip Flush Trio which is about as amazing on my lips as these two blushes are on my cheeks! Vitality is a good word to use for these products because they all just make my face full of complementary color and brighter. I like that!

La Femme Blush Palette (Finally) with Swatches!
I’ve been hearing about the quality and incredible value on La Femme blushes for a few years now on YouTube. I finally ordered some last month when they had an Independence Day discount on Makeup Mania (17.76% off how cute!) and I am so excited about the pigmentation and price! These can be ordered individually to create your own palette like I did or in a self contained package ($3 each) if you’d just like one.
I ordered from Makeup Mania (www.makeupmania.com) which worked out really well. I went for a palette since the colors were $2.50 each (they just had a price increase, they are $2.87 each now) and I paid for an empty palette (it’s $14 currently) and started picking colors.
Here’s what I ended up with and some quick swatches. Remember that you can click on a picture to make it bigger!

These are an amazing deal. I love the colors that I got and the pigmentation is out of this world! I ordered mattes mostly which I love. All the shades in the palette last all day and look fantastic. I highly recommend checking these out and giving La Femme blush a try. I still can’t believe how inexpensive and good these shades are! There are a BILLION different shades to choose from on the website and I got my order in about ten days.
Check the website out if you’d like some cool blush colors to add to your stash!
LORAC Pro Powder Cheek Stain-Plum Passion and Coral Crush
I have a weakness for LORAC. They have a Pro line for Fall and there are five blushes in it and I’m going to show you two of them! Plum Passion (they get extra points for the name) and Coral Crush.
LORAC Plum Passion Cheek Stain
Plum Passion Cheek Stain ($20) is a really pretty purple shade with a classy subtle shimmer to it. I don’t have many plum colored blushes but this is the most wearable one. This lasted all day on me and also made me realize that plum isn’t just for special occasions or very specific makeup looks. This color really emphasizes my cheek bones in a special way like deeper blushes usually do if placed correctly on the cheeks. I get a little slap happy with blush but if you keep this on your “apples” it looks like a cheek lift trust me.
Coral Crush Cheek Stain ($20) is going to remind a few of you of a very famous blush that shall remain nameless. I say that because I like this one better because I can wear it! Since I have a deeper skin tone I have to be careful and use corals that are deep enough and pigmented enough to show up on me and also not look too clown bright. The right coral warms up my skin and looks natural. This is one of those. There is a fun shimmer in the shade but it is subtle and there are NO GLITTERY BITS which I like.
Here’s the scoop on this blush collection from loraccosmetics.com:
I am completely without sun today. It’s depressing but that means all my swatches turned out bad since the clouds are making it look like dusk. Here are a few shots of the blushes swatched but I highly recommend checking the whole collection of blushes out at Sephora or Ulta. Swatching these shades will let you know what you must add to your makeup stash!

I’m going to show you the Pro Cream Eyeliner from the Pro Fall Collection very soon. And the Pro Palette which makes my makeup loving heart race faster every time I look at it!

Sleek Blush By 3-Pink Sprint #366
Sleek blushes are fantastic. Recently I showed you another Blush By 3 set called Flame #365. It’s a pretty red set of blushes so check that out if you like red. That palette of blushes is a mix of shimmer and matte shades.
Pink Sprint is the other Blush By 3 palette I got. All of the colors are matte in this one so that means I love it of course!
Pink Parfait, Pink Ice, and Pinktini (left to right)

Pink Parfait, Pink Ice, and Pinktini (left to right)
Blush by 3 compacts are $15.99 each. I love the pigmentation and the shades last all day beautifully. If you love mixing blushes this is a great find. If your in the states like me you have to order from sleekmakeup.com and the shipping fees are not cheap. I try to order a few things (which is easy) and I’ve reviewed a few really great things they make in case your interested. I love the Face Contour Kit ($10) and showed my favorite individual blushes Sunrise, Pomegranate, Coral, and Sahara ($6.50 each) a while ago. They make really good inexpensive makeup at Sleek!
Check these out if you can. Here’s another shot of the palette in sunlight:)
