This is a beautiful pink blush. I got it last month at Nordstrom’s and I think it was a special item for their anniversary sale. It is a shimmery bright pink (fuchsia to me) blush that looks great on the cheeks. It’s so bright and soft powder wise that you have to watch out and use it with a light hand. You can easily go overboard if you have too much on your blush brush. I learned that the hard way the first time I used it. Rose Tourbillion is very pigmented. I’m not so happy about how powdery it is. That is a little bit of a drawback because it’s a mess in the pan. I had to wipe the whole inside of the container down before I could take pics of the blush. There was pink powdery blush all over the inside mirror and pan. Oh well I’d rather it be a little messy as opposed to less pigmented overall. I just won’t be bringing this blush on any trips.
I love the pretty pink shade. I’m a pink fool as you know already or will know soon if you stick around the blog for a while. So I made a bee line for this blush as soon as I saw it on a few other blogs. It’s my first Chanel blush. I have one more to show you that is red, that’s coming soon. I usually stay away from Chanel blushes because they aren’t pigmented enough for me. This is a great first pick and I’m really happy with it. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this. This is $43 and hard to track down since it was limited edition to begin with. It’s disappeared from the Nordstrom website. Check around for this one if you missed it, it’s an excellent shade for deeper skin tones.
