Dior Addict Ceremony Red #774 Ultra-Gloss

Dior Addict Ceremony Red #774 Ultra-Gloss ($28)

I love red lips. Red lips and the holidays are a given for me! I think Dior’s Grand Bal release was my favorite high end holiday collection this year. I showed you a few things I purchased from Grand Bal a while ago. The best red lipstick ever Marilyn Diorific Lipstick #40 and the nail polish Diva. The last thing that I have to show you that I purchased is Ceremony Red.

I don’t have many Dior glosses but the ones I have I love. I’m not a big fan of the Dior Addict brush wand. It angers me. I just love doe-foot applicators in my glosses. Dior has a short brush type applicator (like Mally, Tarte, or Stila twist up glosses but shorter) in these. I don’t know what it is about these types of applicators that I hate. It’s just that I think a paint brush is better for a fence than my lips.

The gloss itself is gorgeous. It’s not super moisturizing but it doesn’t suck every bit of moisture from my lips like some glosses or lipsticks do either. I touch up every few hours-it’s not a long wearing formula. There is a touch of shimmer in this gloss when you hold it up to the light but it’s mostly a nice creamy looking red on the lips. I like the bit of shimmer in Ceremony Red. It’s a special surprise to anyone that gets close enough to you!

I picked this up at Neiman Marcus. It’s available online at Nordstrom and some other retailers. If you are looking for a nice holiday red-check this one out!

Nice! you are not alone!…..I totally agree about the “paint brush” applicators! I hate them! Won’t buy Stila lip gloss because of that! Love love love doe foot!

Looks great on you. And you can always use a lip brush to apply if you dislike it that much I do not have a probleem with these applicators.
