I’ve had my eye on these new lipsticks from Dior for a while. I love the case and Kate Moss may as well be screaming “buy me girl” in the ads for this. At $28 a tube they aren’t in any way shape or form reasonably priced. Yet I like it just fine. It’s a great shade #865 Collection (why it’s called that? not sure…) and moisturizing. It’s one of those lipsticks I will put in my purse and pull out and use when I want to feel a little glamorous in the 100 degree heat of summer.

I never felt the need to top this with lip gloss for a moisture boost and I really think that the lasting power on this nicely pigmented shade was a must or necessary considering the price. I touched up very rarely during a full day and did I mention its moisturizing? Well yeah it’s pretty amazing on that count. I really find it rare to get this kind of shine, pigmentation, and moisture in a lipstick. Good job Dior. Now if I could only find a place that sells your products for 75% off. That’s a dream I have regularly. YSL, Dior, and Chanel at affordable prices….

I am in love with this one but would I purchase another? No. It’s beautiful and I love this shade but thats the end of the road for me. They have a great bunch of really pretty colors available but this just isn’t unique enough to justify $28 for me at least. But like I said I love the one I got.
