e.l.f. Studio Matte Lip Color-Rich Red (I Got This For $1 at Dollar Tree!)

This was a great deal. I picked this e.l.f. Studio Matte Lip Color at my local Dollar Tree for a buck! I have been using this color for a while but realized that I hadn’t posted on it. What a mistake. If you are looking for a really nice inexpensive matte shade look for this! It’s still available on the e.l.f. website for $3 so its still a good deal.

From the e.l.f. website:

This convenient jumbo sized lip pencil creates exact color application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen. The pigment rich color glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte color. The enriched Vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips.

I really like the way Rich Red looks on my lips. It’s a moisturizing matte formula so you don’t have to worry about excessive dryness. I hate feeling like a lip product sucks the moisture out of my lips or if I need a balm with a matte shade. This passes the test on both of those counts. I don’t need a balm and my lips don’t get dry throughout the day. And the price…I love it!

This lip color lasts all day also. Very little touch up is needed. I really only need to do a touch up if I eat something really intense. There isn’t any smell or taste with this formula. It’s just all around nice and easy to work with. There are only a few matte shades available though so that is a drawback. I’d love to have more of these!

Let me know if you have tried one of these yet! I love this one and the fact that I got it at the Dollar Tree just adds to my excitement:)

Gorgeous color!! I’ve had these in my stash for a couple of years and I love it. This is my MAC Ruby Woo alternative.

I have one of the lighter shades but now I need this red. I really like the way these feel they should have a lot more colors.
