I don’t know what to make of this one. I like it but I’m not in love with it but I don’t know why. Guerlain’s Rouge Automatique is really different from every other lipstick that I have ever tried design wise.  The way you get the lipstick to come out of the tube is unique. You can use this lipstick with one hand! It swivels up with the push of a button. That’s great for quick touch ups so I’m happy with that. I won’t even tell you how long it took me to figure out how to get the darn lipstick to come up and out of the tube. I got really frustrated because I was scared I was going to ruin this lipstick. These luxury lipsticks are $35 a pop so I was sweating bullets hoping that I wasn’t going to mess up the tip or something. Thankfully I got it figured out and just smudged the tip of the lipstick bullet a little bit. Oh well, I learned that reading the directions isn’t a bad thing….

The lipstick is very long wearing like they say. It’s a nice moisturizing comfortable to wear and touch up formula. The color is beautiful too. I love fuchsia lipstick. It’s definitely a weakness of mine. All this having been said I would give this a good rating but I wouldn’t buy another one. At one time I wanted to try a red color they have, #123 Habit Rouge but I think I’ll just put all my Guerlain hopes and dreams into getting more of their Fall palettes. I got one over the weekend (#01 Les Violets) and I’m in love with that already.
