I love a little vampy lipstick for the holidays. Guerlain’s Rouge Automatique line of lipsticks are really pretty. I’ve tried them and they are really long-lasting on my lips. I reviewed Champs Elysees back in August, check out that pretty hot pink color here. When I saw this deep burgundy color I was excited. It looks really dark and mysterious but there is a cool subtle shimmer buried deep in there that looks fantastic on the lips. This color is going to be in my holiday rotation…its just what I needed!

Beautiful color! Just make sure when you use the lipstick, don’t open it up to quickly or you might end up breaking the lipstick like I did!
I had to be so careful with it. I always feel like its going to come out of the wrong end, I still have to think about how to open up one of these before I do it. I hope yours didn’t break to bad!
Oh I looove Rouge Automatique, its sooo creamy and feels lovely on the lips. I can’t figure out though which has the better packaging between rouge automatique and ysl rouge volupte lipsticks
I like the YSL packaging better but there is something alluring about the Rouge Automatique’s! They are so unique packaging wise.
