There is a lot going on in this palette! I picked this up from Sephora. I like Kat Von D shadows and there are 12 brand new shades in this palette. Very nice. Lets take a look at some swatches!

Now there are two shades that I don’t like here. Sunset Blvd and Gunner. They are full of loose glitter that won’t stay put. Other than that the colors work just fine. This palette isn’t going to be for everyone but if you have a decent amount of shadow shades and are looking for something different you might love this one. If you are looking for things for the core of your collection maybe this is not for you.

I’m glad that I picked this up. Its a great way to get a lot of Kat Von D in one place. I think this is a beautifully designed book of colors. The idea of layering shade duos (see the picture above -left side) is nice and most of these parings are a great fit. There are a ton of combo’s here I would never have put together but they work! This like Kat Von D is an out of the box type thing. I hope they continue to put things like this out. It’s a great entry into the brand for people that have never considered it before.
