This is one of my new favorites. I love these two colors separately and together they are even more special. This Nars duo came out in their last collection and I wanted it from the time I first saw it. I only have one other Nars eyeshadow duo that I got a year ago so I am not a collector like many of you out there. But this duo has me interested in the other combo’s that they have.

Used separately this is a great combo but the magic happens when you mix both shades together. The end result is like nothing else that I have. You get a shimmery green eye shadow shade that I wish I had in my collection. So at all the points where these two colors meet on my eye, wow it looks good. What I like to do with this is put the greenish taupe shade (on the left) all over my lid and use the darker charcoal shade (right) at the bottom of my lid where I would normally put eyeliner. Or if I’m feeling a smoky eye this is a great twist on that look. I have been having so much fun playing with this duo. It’s like nothing else I have right now so it’s special!

This and all Nars duos are pretty steep at $33 each. I am going to check out more of these at Sephora but at that price I really have to be able to get a lot of use out of the colors. I’ll let you know if I find another unique duo like this one that’s for sure!
