Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss Iced Chocolate, $5.50 at Walmart

I was really scared of this one! I’m kind of afraid of “milky” nudes. So looking at this in the tube scared me a LOT. I got even more scared when I pulled the doe foot applicator out of the gloss tube.

I was thinking oh no this might be a big mistake. Iced Chocolate looks really creamy and nude and well I just kept saying to myself that the Color Sensational formula is amazing and hasn’t let me down yet. Well it all worked out. The gloss slipped on easily and was really scaring looking when I first slapped it on. I rubbed my lips together though and it started looking damn good!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a great fit for a true nude lover. Someone like me won’t appreciate this shade on sight and find it by mistake but after talking to a few real nude gloss loving girls I’m the last one in town to try this baby out! I have to be careful to apply this shade while looking in a mirror because it can gather in spots around my mouth.

If you haven’t tried the Color Sensational gloss formula you must try it. It’s just about my favorite type of gloss at the drugstore. The glosses smell sort of like Fruit Loops (yum!) but don’t have an odd taste. If you are sensitive to smells give one of these a whiff before you go home with it.

And you should be able to pick this up just about anywhere you buy Maybelline. If this isn’t your type of shade then please try another color from the Color Sensational line. I just love all the ones I have.
