Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash

Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash set, $58 at Nordstrom

A face exfoliator that you can use every single day? I thought that was a sure fire way to skin irritation so it took me a long time to give this a try but when I did boy was I pleasantly surprised! I don’t have particularly sensitive skin. I can usually count on my tough skin to handle most products but this I was worried about. I put my trust in Philosophy and they haven’t lead me down the wrong road yet and I’m really glad that I did!

I got this set at Nordstrom during their Anniversary sale. I liked the idea of using the smaller travel size first just to test the product out and see if I wanted to bother with the bigger 32 oz jug. My first issue was deciding whether to exfoliate in the morning or at night. I was a little worried about using it at night because exfoliating my face and then using the serum’s and cremes I use didn’t sound like a good idea. And then I was also thinking exfoliating and then putting on makeup in the morning….will that be a disaster also? Well I can tell you either way it worked well. I tried both just to see if anything would happen and nothing did. In the end many weeks later I’ve decided using this wash in the morning is the perfect time for me.

I experienced no irritation at all-just smoother skin! I love using this wash in the morning because its the perfect wake me up product. I even work it into my hands (both sides) after my face to smooth out my skin. I think this is a great product for most skin types. If you have sensitive skin try it very carefully. I think the chance of irritation is low but be careful!

Weeks later after using this I notice a smoother facial skin surface and I think exfoliating often is really helping to make my serums to brighten my dark spots work better. It’s almost like they are working faster on my spots and discolored areas. That I love!

Yaaaaaay!! I’m glad you like it. When I used it, I used it in the morning as well. Cleanser I like to use in the morning to help smooth out de face before applying makeup. And yep exfoliating does help serums and other stuff work better. I can’t stand really abrasive exfoliating cleansers. This one is perfect. I see the duo with this and purity in my future…perhaps.

I bought the Purity Cleanser in the small 3oz size at Sephora, first to try out it on cleansing my makeup brushes which is pretty good and I tried it once on my face out of curiosity, but it left my face dry, tight and broke me out. I never bothered to read what ingredients the cleanser contains, so I finally read the ingredients I saw it contains sulfates and parabens. I honestly don’t know how this could work for anyone’s face, but Hey! we’re all different for a reason right? I happen to have Oily/acne-prone/sensitive skin and I should’ve known better than to use this on my face. I am now Using the Michael Todd Regimen which is mostly organic and I don’t know if you would consider trying this skincare line out? It’s reviewed on Blogs & YouTube a lot and you’re a YouTuber so you know. Thanks for this & all your Awesome Posts!

I’m sure someday I’ll get to Michael Todd but right now I’m testing out Philosohy, Perricone, Ahava, and Peter Thomas Roth stuff. It’s a slow process for me. I try to only introduce one new thing at a time to my skin so I can access changes. I don’t have sensitive skin but I like to gage for reactions but also not throw my face into a meltdown by switching up skin care too often. It takes me weeks of use to put up a skin care review. But I’ve seen so many great Michael Todd reviews so I think its working for so many people which is fantastic! Thanks so much for reading the posts here:)

I’ve Read about Mario Badescu skin care products you’ve tried on your Blog posts and that skin care Brand is pretty good too and I find your reviews on the products are very helpful & informative. I also forgot to mention in my previous comment that Michael Todd True Organics has 2 Facial Scrubs : the Jojoba & Charcoal Facial Scrub and Tropical Fruit Facial Scrub that is also safe for everyday use just like the Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash only without those harsh fragrances, chemicals & ingredients. I’ll be here hoping some day you will give the skin care brand a try and I understand that you have to wait a while before you can you put your honest review up and whenever you can try out Michael Todd True Organics I will love to read or hear your thoughts either on your blog or YouTube. Thanks Again :-D

Those two scrubs sound like such a great option for people sensitive to fragrances and other hard to take ingredients! I have friends with sensitive skin and they just don’t try anything because they usually have a bad reaction. Thanks so much for the information. I have a friend I’m going to ask to try the products out. She has sensitive skin but loves to test things out but can’t tolerate fragrance in skin care and is allergic to many of additives that are in most scrubs. I’m sending her Michael Todds way lol! She’s going to love checking it out.

I’m soooo glad you took the plunge with this! It is most definitely my HG and I won’t use anything else. Other than Purity at night and this in the morning. It really does do a fantastic job and keeps my skin so smooth. I’m hoping that they’ll have some kind of special for this on Black Friday, like Sephora did last year on the Purity. But in the meantime, I keep buying the 32oz from QVC when they run their specials. Don’t you just love it?

I love how smooth my skin and hands are! I really never thought you could exfoliate each day like this. I mean I never even used my Clarisonic each day like they recommended. I was way too afraid of what it would do. I can’t wait to see how long the 32 oz. lasts.
