I thought I’d tell you about some of my favorite things from my makeup stash every once in a while. First up is a Lorac shadow called 3-D Licious that I got by chance from a limited edition kit at Ulta last year. I love this color and honestly the photo’s that I took don’t do it justice. It looks different shades depending on the light. It looks brown in the pan, green with more sun and just amazing on the eyes.
This shadow can be used wet also but I always use it dry. Just like all the other Lorac shadows I’ve tried its amazingly smooth and applies beautifully to the lid. There are so many amazing Lorac products out there. The shadows, eye primer, and glosses amaze me.
The set this shadow came in was $35 and unfortunately seems to have sold out. I saw this single shadow on Ebay for $12 but I wasn’t able to find the whole set anywhere. If you’d like to see pictures of the set and wet/dry swatches on a lighter skintone please click here.
3-D Licious is a deeper version of one of my favorite loose shadows by Pure Luxe called Chocomint.
At $1 a scoop Pure Luxe is a great place to sample shadows from. I got a huge order over a year ago ($1 shadows count me waaay in) and I’m still going through the shades. They have fun names for some of the colors and I love the prices! The link to the page is here and if you look under the section labeled Brown, Taupe, Tan, Beige you’ll see Chocomint near the end of the first row.
I urge you to click around on the Pure Luxe site because you might find things that you want to try. I know I did!
