5 Favorite Foundations

My favorite…it’s my precious! I love this long wearing foundation. I apply it with a flat top Sigma F80 and it looks amazing for 10+ hours. This is the only Mac foundation that I have ever really liked and that didn’t break my skin out. So amazing:) It’s $29.50 for 1 oz of NW50 and I’m on my second bottle of it.

Nars Sheer Matte foundation in the shade Trinidad. This is my summertime favorite. I need extra help with my t-zone oil slick and that’s what this amazing foundation from Nars gives me. I get a little sun (darker) and when that happens I pull this baby out and I’m all set! I love Nars packaging but you can always tell if the person really uses the product because well it shows! Look at all the prints all over the top of the bottle:) I only apply this with my fingers, I wish it had a pump! When applied with a brush it just doesn’t look right. This retails for $42 for 1 oz.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation, #410 Cappuccino. Best most reasonably priced foundation on the market in my humble opinion. This stuff goes on like butter and definitely helps control my oily t-zone. It also comes in another formula if you don’t have oily/combination skin. I apply this with my fingers. It’s around $10 for 1 oz, and I LOVE it. Good stuff!

This is a great one for oily skin. It’s Make Up For Ever’s Mat Velvet+ and it’s one of my summer favorites. This is an oil free foundation that doesn’t move and gives flawless medium coverage. The only thing that annoys me is that I can’t see what shade I have on the bottle. It isn’t on there. I think maybe I remember getting #75. Grr that is really crazy right? When I need a new bottle I’m going to have to bring this one with me! I put this on with my fingers. It’s $34 for 1.01 oz.

This is a favorite, Chanel’s Mat Lumiere foundation in the shade #130 Chesnut. I really like how this takes control of my oily parts and makes my whole face look just flawless. It’s not cheap, Chanel never is! At $54 for 1 oz of product it better be good right? Whew. I like applying this with a brush like the directions say. You need very little of this to do your whole face-love it! It also comes with a pump which is fantastic.

I hope you enjoyed this trip down foundation lane….let me know what your favorites are!

You have great picks! I used to use Revlon ColorStay, but somehow I switched over to Maybelline Liquid Dream Mousse w/ Airbrush Finish. It’s my favorite foundation.

I love MAC Pro Long Wear and Revlon Colorstay. I want to try the Chanel foundation. Maybe one of these days.

I also liked the Mac Pro longwear, but I think it has started to break me out :( For the summer I’ve really been loving my MUFE face and body, and when I want a little more coverage I use MUFE mat velvet +. But Nars Sheer Matte never fails me, and will probably always be my favorite :)

The last two digits on the bottom of your MUFE Mat Velvet + foundation is your shade color. I’m so late joining the discussion, my guess is you’ve figured it out. I love your YouTube videos. I’m a Subbie. Today is my first day visiting your Blogpost.
