I think it’s a shame that you don’t network with African American beauty bloggers when i’m sure they make up 80% of your audience.

I think it’s a shame that after asking me a while ago to use your blog posts for this weekly roundup that I do to give you more views you’ve chosen to attack it.
Frankly how do you know what I do or who I network with? I’ve been featured on Black Bloggers Connect and I’m proud of my participation there and in other organizations regardless of the skin color of the bloggers that are associated.
If you really look at the posts in this weekly feature it is all about new products/makeup that are coming out. New collections of products from high end brands and drugstore brands. That really doesn’t have anything to do with color, it’s about what a large part of my audience of beauty lovers is interested in and in the years that I’ve been doing this I have concentrated on for the most part newly released makeup. Its fine if you don’t like what I do but don’t you EVER accuse me of something when you don’t know me and you don’t know what I’m about. Especially when you’ve asked me to put up your blog posts to “increase your views”.

She told you! @Goddesslily That’s right, Crystal! This is a beauty blog and because you make yourself visible on this platform, people think they “know” you. It’s a shame that some people are so darn ignorant!!!! What does liking Ruby Woo, for example, have to do with white, black, Hispanic, Asian, or whatever???? Annnnnnnnnyway. -Terese

Thank you Terese! Wanting to know what is coming out in the Mac Fall collections ahead of time or what new products have been spotted at the drugstore has nothing to do with anything but being informed about makeup regardless of what color you are!

I come here for info and because I love lipstick and I’m the whitest white girl. I’d ignore someone that can’t even figure out what these posts are about. You made the right decision not exposing your viewers to her site. It doesn’t sound like she would appreciate a visit from me since to her what race I am matters….
