Bobbi Brown Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer-Rich Tint

Bobbi Brown Oil Free Tinted Moisturzer in Rich Tint ($40, 1.7 oz.) is something that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on to review. I got this a while ago and after many trips back to the store I got it from, I finally got the right shade for me.

I got a lighter shade than this and that was ok but I know I’m going to get darker, summer is coming after all. Rich Tint is the darkest shade they make and it is a great match for my Mac NW45-50 skin.

Just a few things that you need to know if you are considering this. This product is sheer coverage, period. It’s kind of buildable in that if I put another layer under my eyes or in some other areas that are trouble spots I see a little bit more coverage. But make no mistake I can still see my dark crater like under eye circles. It’s also really expensive at $40. I think for a tinted moisturizer that’s pretty steep isn’t it? But for a quick and easy to use product  this really charmed me I must admit.

There are a several things that I really liked when it came to using this. I love the texture. It’s lightweight and just creamy enough. I on average used a dime sized amount on my face. It looks flawless and seemless on (yay color match!) and leaves you with a nice “buffed” canvas to work with. The overall finish is just perfect. I don’t like to look really matte or dewy. This is a great in-between finish, and it stayed that way for hours and hours! I would even go so far as to say this gave me a really nice glow. I applied some blush and highlighter over this and I loved how natural this looked. On days I don’t want to do my whole foundation routine this is going to be my go to product.

If you don’t need much coverage or if you are looking for something light and easy to use for summer I would say that you definitely need to check this out. Get a sample to make sure it’s right for you. At $40 you don’t want to get this and be disappointed.

Rated B+ (I wish it was cheaper!!)

Disclosure: I purchased this item myself!

I’ve been waiting on this review. Did you use your primer underneath or a powder over? I tend to have a problem with sunscreen; but I may try a sample of this, since I’m looking for something really light. You are definitely right about the price though.

I used it without anything and then with some primer in my tzone on a really hot day and it stayed several hours longer. Try a sample, at $40 you need to love this!
