Along with a lot of other birthday skin care splurges I picked this eye makeup remover from Dior up in late May. I have been using it exclusively (it’s almost gone!) since I picked it up and I must say I really like it. Is it worth $30…I’d have to say no. I really think the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover will be just fine for most. That’s one of my favorites along with Rimmel’s Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover. I have tried a bunch of higher end removers and many of the ones at the drugstore. I really must say that just like with mascara the drugstore really does seem to have the higher end brands on the ropes. Which is fine by me!
So as I said this remover is really nice. It works super fast and takes everything off in seconds. Even the tough stuff. I love that it doesn’t leave your lids oily after you use it. That annoys me a little. You have to shake it up before use or else it won’t work. After you shake it you just need a few drops on a cotton ball and it removes everything. But at 4.2 oz. for $30 I’d have to say I won’t be purchasing this again. I prefer my drugstore removers that are under $10. But I am glad that I picked this up to try. I will be sticking with my drugstore favorites for the near future. I have a brand new bottle of Neutrogena’s finest on stand by after I am done with this!

Boots No. 7 “Quick Thinking Wipes” and not unlike their name these are definitely wipe and run. No oil residue, no reddened irritation, perfect saturation and thickness. Excellent product.

They sound great!

Most recently I have been wearing waterproof mascara and I am really enjoying. The body shops chamomile waterproof eye and lip makeup remover. Doesn’t seem to leave a residue and removes really well. It was 15 but they’re on groupon right now so if you pick up a 5 dollar item it ends up being about 10 bucks. Not bad. It’s 5 oz fyi.
Crystal says
Glad to hear you like it. I’ve seen that remover on the Ulta website a few times and wondered how it is!

I like the almay waterproof make up remover liquid (the pads are not as good).
Crystal says
I had such a bad experience with the pads. If the liquid got on my eyes at all I cried like a baby. I think I have a brand new liquid remover bottle under my bathroom sink. They had it for 75% off at cvs for some reason.

I do like the l’oreal lipstick and eye makeup remover but sometimes it leaves an oiky film on my eyes. I’m close to the end so it seems like there is more oil.
Crystal says
I really hate having oily lids after using remover.

I’ve been using the Lancome one lately and I LOVE IT! I’m going to try Neutrogena next. I’ll probably pick up another Lancome one during the VIB sale unless I’m really wowed by the Neutrogena one.
Crystal says
Oh really I might have to check that Lancome one out around VIB time too! I checked under my bathroom sink and I have three drugstore eye removers on stand by that I need to use up by then it will be time to try something new!

I really love the mario badescu eye makeup remover gel. I use mainly water proof mascara and the nars eye pencils; this stuff takes both off really well. I have sensitive allergy eyes year round, and this doesn’t bother me. I like that it’s creamy too. MUF SENS EYES is another favorite.
