I waited for Dolce & Gabbana’s Passion Duo lipsticks to come out so patiently. I really love D&G and I loved the idea of a lipstick with a lip gloss center. Once the lipstick and gloss mix together hopefully what you have is a great pair of lips!
I am a fanatic about my lipstick not being to drying. Some brands are not for me because they seem to suck the moisture out of my lips. I like a nice smooth formula that keeps my lips looking decent and feeling comfortable for the day. Not too much to ask I think but sometimes its hard to find. This wasn’t a disappointment. I think the gloss center gives this lipstick a serious boost of moisture. I love it.
The color is good also. I know I took a lot of pictures but I couldn’t help it. I love the D&G packaging. I didn’t do a great job of capturing it but the gloss center of Satin #100 has some glitter in it. It’s a nice touch but there isn’t so much of it that it is distracting.
At $34 a tube these lipsticks are a luxury purchase. I know you’ve seen this color before, there are several different brands that make a color like this. It’s the formula that makes this different. There are 20 different shades available and I think I’d like to try another sometime soon.

Hi Crystal! The color you have is very pretty and the idea of D & G is unique/creative! It reminds of Klondike bar… having the best of both worlds, chocolate and icecream, lol. Personally, I am not a fan of lipgloss bec. I wear my hair down most of the time and it drives me nuts when my hair sticks to my lips. But this one I am willing to give it a chance.
