I love this stuff but boy is it hard to find! I think the official word I got on this from a few different sales associates is that it’s been discontinued in shade #7. It’s (#7) not on the Armani website. The deepest shade of Face Fabric that they have on there right now is 5 which won’t cut it for me. I think I got lucky getting this tube in the first place. I love this foundation, it’s so natural looking and easy to use.
Face Fabric has this mousse like texture that blends beautifully on the skin. Its like smoothing whipped cream onto your skin and just as fun. I think this provides sheer coverage but its buildable. I was able to cover up some under eye bags successfully. This looks so close to real skin when it’s on that I can put it just on my trouble spots to even out my skin and I can’t tell where my skin ends and this begins. It’s crazy good.
The texture of this foundation is the biggest selling point. I love the texture and the lightness of it. It’s ok with my oily skin too. I didn’t notice any extra oil with this so I can use this year round. It worked best for me when I applied it to my face with my fingers. A little of this goes a long way so at least I will get my money’s worth!
If you don’t like wearing foundation this might be a perfect fit for you. It’s not heavy or too much work for someone who doesn’t love foundation. There are five shades available and it’s an expensive $48 for 1 oz of product. I am going to enjoy mine since I don’t know if I’ll ever come across it again. Test this out at an Armani counter near you, I think the consistency will make you want to take it home.
