Givenchy Pop Gloss #415 Glitter Pink

Like glitter? There is more glitter in this gloss than most of my lip gloss colors combined! Givenchy’s Pop Gloss colors are very unique. It was hard to choose which color to get they all looked so beautiful at Sephora. I made myself pick just one, they are $24.50 each. I decided to go with #415, a sheer pink shade with glitter.

Wearing all of that glitter is kind of annoying. You can really feel it on your lips. The gloss isn’t too sticky but the tiny glitter particles on my lips took some getting used to. The shade I picked Glitter Pink is a little out there. Most of the glitter is green. Yes, green glitter! I got some crazy looks at the post office and at the grocery store during the day. People were figuring that I needed to save all that glitter for the club or something! It’s a fun look, but I think in the future I will consider only bringing this lip gloss out at night. The glitter sparkles brightly and it’s quite distracting when people look at you. It’s really hard to capture the glitter and I tried so many ways to make it happen but here is my best attempt. See all the tiny glitter specs? Wow!

After using the lip gloss for a while I found that the most dramatic and fun way to wear it is over one of my favorite lipsticks, Mac’s Full Fuchsia! It looks great over an eye-catching bright lipstick shade. Take a look. Pictures don’t do it justice but believe me it really pops in person!

This is my first Givenchy lip gloss. I like the formula and found that I rarely had to touch up (after meals mostly) throughout the day. The gloss has a nice doe foot applicator and with .21 oz. of product in the tube this is going to last a good while. I am loving the other Pop Gloss colors so I might be purchasing another color before too long. I don’t know when I will ever come across this much sparkly goodness in a gloss so it makes sense to get another one.

Disclosure: I purchased this item myself!
