I’ve Got My Eye On….

Several things have caught my eye recently. Here’s a look at what I’m thinking about trying out this month.

Sunday Riley Eyeshadows ($26) and Blush ($30)- I saw a few amazing posts last month on The Beauty Look Book and since then I’ve had these eyeshadows and blushes on my mind. There seems to be some serious pigmentation in this line and I’m all about that! Click here to check out the eyeshadow post on Sabrina’s blog.

Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick ($78)- In a lap around the internet looking up what Tom Ford items are getting the most praise this is at the top of the list. The reviews are mixed for the liquid foundation and many of the other items released. I need to check it out for myself!

Nars Tinted Moisturizer ($42)- I went to Nordstrom last week to check this out. My color is Seychelles and it was the best looking tinted moisturizer that I have ever tried. They didn’t have my shade in stock so I am waiting for it to come in the mail so I can really give it some serious testing. This tinted moisturizer did an amazing job of not getting oily in my t-zone AT ALL. The finish is dewy but not greasy and it looked the exact same way 8 hrs after it was applied. I still need to test this under but so far WOW!

Laura Mercier Nail Polish ($18 each)- I saw these pretty shades and the next thing I knew I was on the Nordstrom website placing an order. I got the first and third shades in the lineup pictured above. These are so pretty!

Chanel Lèvres Scintillantes Collection- Ahhh Chanel. I would love to skip a collection of yours but when you come out with Fuchsia lip and nail colors I must participate in the frenzy. This is up on the Chanel website under what’s new. Take a look!

I picked up 3 sunday riley eyeshadows… i got leprechaun, siberian sable, and burnt eggplant. I really recommend siberian sable & burnt egglplant- beautiful pigmented, blendable, and wearable shadows!

I hear ya gal, I also got my eye on those things as well.

Question: Can you recommend a good bronzer for us women of color?
