I really enjoy hearing from you and reading comments.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate comments on blog posts and you letting me know what YOU like. I know its easy to check out a blog and move on so when you comment it really means a lot to me. Because the only way I can tell (without you commenting) what you like to see is by looking at the numbers. Numbers that don’t tell me much actually. I don’t know if everyone is checking out a post because it’s GOD awful or if it’s really good and something I should do more often.

So if you get a chance to let me know what you like once in a while that really helps. This is fun for me but I also want it to be something that is useful to you too!

I LOVE your blog and look forward to your posts. Even though we have different skin tones, i find we have similar taste in products and color choices.

Thanks so much for letting me know:) I really appreciate you taking a look at posts. It’s so great that we are different skin tones but enjoy some of the same things!

You are one of my favorite beauty bloggers ever! I got into beauty blogs/youtube about a year ago and I subscribed to all of the most known people (Elle & Blair, Amarixe, Emilynoel83, etc) and I have to say I am so glad that I stumbled upon your channel. I always enjoy watching your videos and your blog is great too! I follow you on twitter and I love the great deals/sales that you share with all of your followers. though we are complete opposite on the color spectrum I still love seeing your reviews and swatches. And I love that you always have such a fun, positive energy. I hope you never stop making videos or stop blogging because I would cry!

Thank you so much! I really love Youtube and follow people like emilynoel also! I think its so nice that when it comes to beauty we love so many of the same things regardless of our differences skin tone wise. Thank you so much again and have a great rest of the week!

I don’t comment often but I love all of your posts (I kind of check it obsessively at work :oP) I’m so jealous you can pull off so many kinds of lip products/colors!
Your reviews are super helpful (I love that you have both drugstore and high-end. I always check your review before I splurge on anything high-end) and the other blog-post roundup are fun, too!

I’ve been following your blog and channel for a while now, but I don’t comment too often because often I’m at work or on my Iphone and don’t have a chance. I really like your honest reviews and I like the fact that you show both drugstore and high end products. Thanks!

I enjoy your blog so keep up the good work. Would love to see you do a post on Black Opal and Black Radiance cosmetics. They are drugstore or Duane Reede items.

Thank you! I have to see where I can get Black Opal I haven’t checked out anything from them. That’s gotta be somewhere locally. Good idea! I love Black Radiance, their products are so pigmented and they dont get as much credit for that as they deserve.

I wanted to chime in and reiterate what the others have said about loving your blog and videos. Sure I follow other blogs but your blog is the only one that I consistently keep coming back to. Its always informative and entertaining. I have tried so many products based on your recommendations and have never been disappointed. You do a real service for beauty enthusiasts out here and it is so much appreciated. Would love to hear your thoughts on some brands that have been around but I have just been discovering: Laura Geller, Senna Cosmetics, YSL and Bobbi Brown. Also, would love to see your whole makeup collection again since it keeps growing :) Keep up the great work!

I’m so glad you’ve gotten some products that you like! I’ve never tried Laura Geller or Senna Cosmetics. But I love YSL and Bobbi Brown. Especially YSL!
I did my last makeup collection video in April. I do it once a year. I must admit that one of the things that makes me do it less often is that type of video attracts the worst comments of any type of video that I do. For some reason it brings all the crazy’s out. It’s a shame because I love to see stuff like that myself but the comments and actual threats and racial slurs that come across in the comments as a result make it my least favorite thing to do. I’m so sorry that things are that way but I really try to stay away from things that set people off! And for some strange reason makeup collection/storage videos do that.

That’s a real shame that seeing another’s collection brings out the crazies. It’s no different that showing a book collection, dolls, or whatever since for makeup junkies, this IS one of their hobbies. It’s art for your face.

BTW, I finally tried the L’Oreal infallible eye shadows on your recommendation and swatches. I have to say that i just love them! they’re the first drugstore shades that I’ve purchased in ages; they’re so soft, pigmented and the staying power is awesome!

I never write any comments either which I probably should do more but I just wanted to tell u that your videos help me find some new products which I love and I also wanted to say that I read the last comment before me about people writing u such horrible comments when u do a makeup collection video and I do understand how some people can say its all a waste of money to have soo many products you could never use up but also a lot of people don’t understand the love we have for our makeup and beauty love/obsession because they don’t understand that our makeup is not just something that will “make us pretty” but it’s something that makes us feel good about ourselves and is almost like an artistic outlet and is also something we like to collect just as other people collect strange things that we may not understand. I also feel that any racist comments are so uncalled for and just horrible, it really breaks my heart that u have or will ever have to read those, just know that u have so many people supporting you, including me :)

Aww thank you. I really try to stay positive and just erase the negative comments. i think its strange when people take the time to write such hateful things. i do think of makeup as a way to express myself as well. thank you so much for commenting and i really am glad you found some products that you love!

I love your blog and I check up on your posts everyday. It’s been awhile since I’ve left a reply. When I saw that you bought the new Maybelline BB Cream. I ran out and found it at my local CVS. I got the shape “Deep” and I am SOOOO in love with it! It gives my skin a nice healthy glow and since it has a sheer coverage it feels like I have nothing on my face. I went and got a second tube because I know it’s something I’ll be reaching for a lot. I always look forward to your blog posts and your videos. Keep up the excellent work!

I enjoy your videos and blog posts so much. Its nice to be informed when you shop for makeup so you don’t waste your money on products you are not sure about. You have introduced me to so many great products and helped me avoid the ones that were duds. So you really do a service to your viewers/readers. Keep up the great work Crystal.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback and I think the best compliment that anyone can give me is that I saved them money! Please don’t be a stranger and have a wonderful week!
