There is a little story behind all of this.

My local Ulta’s were sold out of this cool full size 12-piece shadow set from LORAC so I ordered it online. It came and one of the shadows was broken. I called Ulta customer service and after calling both of my local stores to verify none of these sets was in-store they said they’d send me another one by mail. The set that arrived was worse off. Two of the shadows broke (one of them was black and sparkly yikes..) and the shadow dust from both shades was all over the inside of the package. So it got all over the outside of every single shadow.

After talking to Ulta customer service they decided sending me a new one wouldn’t be best and sent me a gift card instead. They told me to donate the unused shadows so I decided to clean them up (using a baby wipe and drying them off with a Bounty sheet) and give them to one of you. They are unswatched/unused/unopened shadows so I really hope one of you will enjoy them! I love LORAC shadows and since they are full sized I thought this was worth it to pass on to a fellow beauty lover.

They cleaned up beautifully! Minus a little bit of Bounty lint lol! Feel free to click on the pic below to see the shades better!

    I’ve had my eye on this set! (I’m glad Ulta gave you some good customer service, too!) My favorite eyeshadow brand is Inglot. My favorite shades are 399, 402, 154, 153, 46, and 395. I’m convinced that Inglot isn’t more popular because of the dumb numbering system. :-) My Beautylish cart is completely full of even more Inglot! Love them to bits. Thanks for the giveaway, Crystal!

    Honestly wet and wild has the best formula in my opinion for a drugstore makeup. Most of my high end shadows are Mac and urban decay. I love them both! Urban decay may have a formula that is a bit better. Sometimes it depends on the shadow. I would love to try these Lorac shadows!

    Hey Crystal, I really love the shadows by Smashbox and Dior. One thing I’ll never understand is the little Bourjois pots – I feel like they don’t really have a crazy high end feel to them to be $18 each here in Canada!

    I really like Smashbox’s eyeshadows at the moment, but I find it hard to pick a favorite brand of eyeshadows. I like different brands for different reasons! :)

    Wet n wild for drugstore. For high end I’m thinking maybe urban decay. Or bareminerals. Love them both so much. It would be so cool to try the Lorac though. Never have before. Thanks for the shot at those shadows :)

    Ooh I’d love to try these- I’ve never tried Lorac as it isn’t sold where I live, but I hear good things! As for my current favourite eyeshadow, I would say either Inglot or The Balm!

    I really like high end eyeshadows because in my experience there are less “dud” colors. Lorac Pro palette is my current favorite. Before the lorac pro palette, I didn’t think I could wear matte shadows all over my lid because the matte color tattoos look horrible on me and so did the matte quads by physicians formula… but I took a chance on the Lorac Pro palette and it was soooo worth it! I think that because lorac formula is so buttery smooth, I was able to apply evenly without patches.

    Bare Minerals Ready eyeshadows or my Lorac Pro Palette. So soft and pigmented and a dream to blend with. Hardly need to pick up any shadow or be aggressive with your eyelids. After you told us what happenedon Instagram I was hoping it would get resolved some how.

    I gotta give a huge nod to makeup geek shadows. So beautiful and pigmented and reasonably prices!!! Other than those I love Lorac (pro!) and tarte. What great customer service ulta!

    I just got my first high end eye shadow and I loved it..Its Urban Decay..Its so pigmented. Oh I can ramble about it all day. From the drugstore I love the Maybelline Color Tattoos among the cream ones. I Also liked MUA. Its a UK brand. Haven’t seen u review it. Do try it. I’m sure you’ll like it.

    For me the best drugstore eyeshadow is from wet and wild cosmetics and for high end brand, not really sure co’z I don’t own many expensive brand makeup. But I received a Dior eyeshadow pallete as a gift and I could say that it is a very good eyeshadow.

    The body shop makes my favorite shadows. Their color crush line is amazing. The Color Crush Eyeshadow in Midnight Flirt is the most pigmented black eyeshadow ever. You don’t know true black eyeshadow until you swatch that shadow
