L’oreal Extraordinaire-Fuchsia Orchestra #106

L’oreal Extraordinaire-Fuchsia Orchestra #106, $7.49 at Bed Bath & Beyond

This is an amazing color isn’t it? Extraordinaire’s are a recent new release from L’oreal. I saw a large display of colors and anything fuchsia that I see is gonna be mine. It’s my favorite lip color and this looked like it would be straight up fire on the lips and it is. But this isn’t going to be for everyone. There is no taste but these smell a little flowery. It’s not overwhelming I just smell it when I open the tube. But the big thing is that the formula is thick. Like surprisingly so. It stays put on my lips though because it is so thick. I don’t find touching up to be something that I need to do unless it’s after a big meal. It’s so glossy and full of color that it stays on for a good long while.

The applicator reminds me of the YSL Rouge Pur Glossy Stains (blog post on Rose Tempura #13 here) but the product that comes out is much thicker and it’s super pigmented! I like that. Some might find this formula to be sticky because its so thick. They are saying its a liquid lipstick and I’d totally agree with that. It’s not your standard lip gloss.

From L’oreal Paris website:

Transform lips from ordinary to extraordinary. Color is richer, lip surface is smoother and shine is magnified. Formulated with precious micro-oils and rich color pigments, Extraordinaire provides the ideal balance of color and care for perfect lips. The unique soft-touch applicator allows for a silky-smooth, gliding application.

I love the moisture and color saturation. You just have to watch out for these when it comes to your teeth. My big old teeth seek out bright lip colors! It’s so embarrassing. There are over fifteen colors available so check these out! I picked up another one today so I’m a fan. It’s a bright one called Orange Tempo #300.

    Hi Crystal :)
I think colour looks so gorgeous on you!!!
Would you say this is a blue based pink?
I am on the search for a nice blue based pink and blue based red lipstick/lipgloss :)
I love the layout of your blog :)

Yes I would! It isn’t too blue because if it was I’d need a deeper liner to make it work. Thanks I’m so happy with the way that the blog turned out!
