Mac Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick ($16) and Lipglass ($15) Limited Edition
The new Rihanna Viva Glam duo was released today online! At noon (release time) I was ready to order and was surprised to find that at 11:55am I was able to order the lipstick and the lipglass without any waiting. Say hey for mobile ordering! I got my order confirmation fast as well. I’ll definitely do a blog post when my order comes. I can’t wait….you know how much I love red!
This should be in stores on the 23rd of this month if you’d like to see the products in person.
Color me curious. Only thing that gets me is the Viva Glam products going towards a good cause.
I think it’s such a nice thing that they do. I love most of the Viva Glam lip glasses. I didn’t purchase any Gaga shades but this is going to be a fit I think!
It is. I got them but ended up giving Gaga I to a friend who loved the colors. I think I still have 2 and I do wear it from time to time. Said I was going to go back and get what other Viva Glam products that were still available.
I’m so soured by the MAC / Rihana collaboration I was tempted to pass on this but since it’s for a good cause. You notice none of the normal shenanigans when ordering today? Makes me want to say hmmmm

Agreed, this was the first time that Rihanna collection did not have a wait room and checking out was a breeze. I only ordered the lipstick and hope it’s not too frosty looking, because I am not a fan of frosty lip colors. I can’t turn down a nice red and from the swatches that I’ve seen it looks good on all skin tones. I may eventually breakdown and get the lip glass.
I’m so glad you had a good experience also! I have a hard time saying no to a red and the pictures I’ve seen do seem like a great fit for a lot of skin tones.

Unfortunately, there are many people saying that are so over the MAC-Rhianna collaboration.
You can look at as making a donation, if anything. Don’t give up now, please. I just checked, and it’s not sold out. Not sure if MAC actually made more product or like I said before…people are over it. Hope people will help out with the cause.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the ease of checking out this time around. Only a few minutes. I wonder if it was because some have MAC Rihanna fatigue, but I was excited about the lip set because it isn’t matte. Can’t wait to get them. Love your new website design. Has a bright calmness about it, if that makes any sense.

This is totally not related to your rihanna post but i just wanted to say THANK YOU for everything you do on your youtube channel — makeup tips, what’s new at the drugstore, your thoughts on old/new products, and basically your honesty in everything you’ve ever showcased on youtube! (And on this blog, ofcourse!)
I always always always look forward to your videos. I basically rely on your videos when it comes to new drugstore products and if they’re a fail or a success. Because of your consistency on uploads, blog posts, etc., your videos have become one of the best kinds on youtube as far as makeup goes. Gurus would tend to post frequent videos, yet their quality is mediocre and aren’t quite informative. You have passed both — your quality and level of information on your videos are above and beyond. I just cannot express how much respect I have for you and what you do on the world wide web for us girls who love makeup as much as you do!
Please keep doing what you’re doing because you truly are an inspiration to many women! Again, i love your videos and i will always be a fan of what you do! Love ya Crystal!!!!
