Marc Jacobs Beauty Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl-Boom Boom #210, $28
This is a hot color!
I knew when I saw the Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl’s from MJ at my local Sephora store Boom Boom was the one I was going to buy. It’s my perfect shade. I love the color of course but the way this lacquer feels on the lips is a reason to try it even if you don’t want something as bright as Boom Boom.
Besides being pigmented as can be this gloss feels really nice and moisturizing on the lips. Now when I first apply this color there is a tiny bit of a tingle. Not as much tingle as a Buxom gloss but just a little touch of tingle that goes away very quickly. Must be the plumping effect. I don’t know how to describe it best but my lips look sort of wet wearing this. I mean in a good way. This gloss makes your lips look juicy and kissable and thats all I’m going to say because I’m starting to sound like a perv ha!
I find that this lasts well through the day. I end up touching up once but the nice thing is that this stains my lips. So the color still looks really good after meals and drinks. It’s a bit hard to remove at night but I just gently work my cotton ball over my lips and it comes off. I need more of these. I’m trying to pace myself but in the new year I may have to get another shade!
Check these lacquers out at Sephora on your next visit! They have quite a few pretty shades to pick from.
