NOTD: Exciting Mix-Sally Hansen Water Color+Revlon Whimsical

I copied this great idea from a recent post from one of my favorite blogs ever Nouveau Cheap. In her post she had a picture from The Swatchaholic with Deborah Lippmann’s Glitter in the Air layered over a pretty mint green polish (check out the original nail post here) that really caught my eye. I have a Revlon dupe for Glitter in the Air called Whimsical and I thought I have to do this!

So I tried it and I love the results. Check it out!

It turned out so well if I do say so myself! I used a base coat, one coat of Water Color, two coats of Whimsical and a top coat….whew! I made sure I had extra drying time. I am such a crazy that I sometimes decide to do my nails after starting laundry. Ever tried to transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer after giving yourself a manicure? Or even better taking warm bedsheets out of the dryer? Yes I have done all of that like a fool! Well this time I waited till after the laundry was done.

So if you have Whimsical or Glitter in the Air make sure you try this! I’m so glad I did and I’m sure that I’ll try using Whimsical over several other shades in my stash in the future. This is a great idea for fun Spring nails!
