NYX Fire Lipstick

The first time I saw this lipstick I thought it looked exactly like Mac Impassioned. After digging out my Impassioned lipstick tube and putting them side by side I saw that they aren’t exact dupes but after wearing NYX Fire lipstick I must say I like it better!

This color is inexpensive and a perfect pop of pink. I like it better than Mac Impassioned because I find that color to be not as deep as I would like and Fire pops against my skin tone more. I swatched both colors on my hand for comparison.

Speaking of Mac guess what came today, Marilyn!

It’s online (maccosmetics.com) tomorrow and in stores on October 4th! I’ll do a video and swatches tomorrow.

Lovely lipstick, have to check this out! I just started using NYX (my local giant eagle started having some of it) and YOU HAVE TO TRY ALABAMA! It’s in their matte lipstick formula but it’s the perfect dark sexy red for fall. I think you would LOVE IT!!!!!

Hi Crystal, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with NYX’s Fire lipstick. I wanted the MAC Marilyn Monroe Love Goddess lipstick–but they are sold out. I did an online chat with a MAC makeup artist–and she recommended trying MAC’s Impassioned Lipstick combined with their Bombshell lipstick to create the same look, as Love Goddess.

Is there an NYX lipstick that is a dupe for MAC’s Bombshell? If so, that would sure be cool!

    Thanks for all you do!~Marilyn

I’m so sorry I have Impassioned and love it but I’ve never heard or tried Bombshell. But now I’m curious I’ll google that and see what comes up! Lol I use google all day long and there is always an answer!
