Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer

Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer, 2 oz./$69 at QVC.com

This is one decadent moisturizer. It’s pricy and has an amazing rose scent which is something I wish I could use more. As I’ve mentioned more than once (ha!) I have combination skin. Despite this being marketed to all skin types I must disagree because it’s not a fit for me. It’s a little too rich and adds to the shine factor that I’m trying to keep at bay at all costs by noon. I start getting shiny after a few hours. Boo hiss. But its worth noting that I have a few friends with dry skin that LOVE this moisturizer.

I can’t use this at all during the hotter months but to use it up I am slathering some on my chin and dry cheeks now because during the winter I am incredibly dry in those areas. If you have dry or normal skin there is every chance in the world that you will love it. I know so many people that do. I wish I could indulge but I can’t for part of the year.

I got this as part of a set on QVC so thats why I kept it. Did I mention it smells like roses? I could sniff it all darn day. Amazing.

From the QVC website:

What is it: A luxurious, rose-scented cream that helps to restore moisture, radiance, and firmness to the skin.

Who is it for: People of all skin types who seek a daily moisturizer that helps fight the signs of aging while providing healthy hydration.

Why is it different: The unique formulation contains alpha lipoic acid, vitamin C ester, and DMAE to help decrease dryness associated with daily activities. The hydrating cream also helps to decrease the appearance of fine lines; helps to restore the appearance of youth and beauty; and helps to increase radiance.

How do I use it: Apply over other Perricone MD treatment products to supply deep nourishing moisture to the skin, as needed. Use in the morning and at night. Follow with sunscreen in the morning.

Check this out in store if you don’t want to order online. I have seen this moisturizer at Nordstrom and also at Ulta since they carry Perricone products. It’s a significant purchase and kind of like the Maybach of moisturizers so make sure you can return it if it’s not right for you!

That’s so weird because to me it smells fishy! And you’re right about not being for combo skin.

I absolutely love the OH Vitamin C oil. That I could smell all day long, it smells soooo good!
Not sure of the benefits yet, since I just started using it about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully I’ll see results because I can’t get enough of that smell! lol

Yeah, DMAE is really effective, but I hate the way it smells too. I get over it because it works so well HA HA! This may explain it: DMAE is produced by the body but can also be found naturally in salmon, anchovies, and sardines.
