Sonia Kashuk Ultra Luxe Lip Gloss Polished Plum #38, $8.99 at Target

This is right up my alley. It’s glossy as hell and plummy. Polished Plum for the win!

Sonia Kashuk this is kind of fantastic. Where have I been that I have just started getting in to these? I love how pretty and glossy this is and its a tad thick but I think that just adds to the lasting power. This is one of those products that is like a liquid lipstick. There is only one problem. The wand…the long brush wand is a killer. It angers me. The brushes go everywhere and come out of the tube all funky….grrr I hate it.

Of course when I got ready to take the picture below the darn brush behaved rather well. Usually there are at least three different individual brushes going every which way. It’s a hot mess but it’s not so bad I won’t pick up another one of these. I have to go back and look at the colors but believe me its happening.

Like I said the formula is thick (and a tad sticky) but this gloss really goes the distance. No strong scent or taste either. Very few touch ups are needed unless you are having a heavy meal or drinking quite a bit. Look for the Ultra Luxe Lip Glosses at Target. Don’t you love the color? There is something special about plum!
