After using both of these blush palettes I’ve got to say I’m so glad Tarte does this for the holidays! I hope they continue because for the money these five pan beauties are a value. At $42 each both last year and this year they are something to consider picking up if you love blush. Tarte does blush right!
I skipped last holidays Off the Cuff Blush palette and regretted it. I picked one up on eBay (for an outrageous price naturally…) weeks ago and am so glad that I did. There are four beautiful blush shades and a bronzer in there. I like the packaging much better also. It’s glitzy packaging wise and just looks gorgeous when I pull it out to use.
This years blush palette Pin Up Girl is really pretty too. All five shades are blushes and even though I’m not a fan of the packaging it’s a very nice blush palette full of nicely pigmented shades for $42. An individual full sized Tarte blush is $26 so five that I’ll never hit pan on most likely for $42 sounds unbelievably good.
So which do I like better after using both for a few weeks? Without a doubt its 2013′s Off the Cuff. Even though I don’t even use Park Avenue Princess I still reach for 2013′s Off the Cuff blush palette more. I just love the colors and as a blush mixer there is a lot more for me to work with.
Here’s a very quick set of swatch pics with both palettes on one hand. I have the Off the Cuff palette on top and the Pin Up Girl palette on the bottom.

My favorite shades in the Off the Cuff palette are Crave & Dazzled. Darling is a great mix in shade though and Dollface too. In the Pin Up Girl palette my favorites are Embraced even though it has a tad bit more shimmer than I like and Irreplaceable. I tend to favor deeper blush shades though so keep that in mind if you have a fair skin tone.
Overall I am so glad that I have both of these palettes. I think if you have the money getting this years blush palette is still a good value but not a must have if you really love last years palette. I can’t wait to see what they have for us next year!

I really like this years better! I wish they did palettes like this more than once a year. It’s such a good deal.
