Urban Decay is one of my favorite brands and I usually jump on their latest eye palette but I took my time adding the cheek tints to my stash. They are really pretty but so often I’ve been disappointed with cream blushes that look bright and pigmented in the pot but after swatching seriously disappoint. Bang is a bright orange shade that may look scary in the pan but its sheer enough to work for so many people.
This tint is sheer but buildable which is why I think it will work for a variety of skin tones. For the lighter skinned beauties out there your not going to need much of this. A few taps of your finger is gonna do it. But the deeper skinned toned lovely’s like me can build a few layers of tint quickly and not look like a clown:) What I’m able to achieve is a beautiful orange color that isn’t scary but looks natural believe it or not. I think you are going to get tired of me talking about orange but I love it.
I like topping Bang with powder blush to make it last and use something like Nars Taj Mahal to give it a little sheen/glow on my skin. It looks great with my gold/bronzing highlighters as well. Bang is great on its own though and totally work appropriate because its a flattering orange despite its somewhat scary first impression. I’m not crazy about the price. It’s $24 which I think is too much but I’m happy I picked it up for 20% off. Check the UD Cheek Tints out at Ulta or Sephora so you can swatch them in person and see if the texture works for you.
Here is a quick wrist swatch so you can see how the color builds after several swipes of the product.
