Badger Cocoa Butter Lip Balm Really Works on Sore Lips + (CLOSED) Giveaway (USA Residents!)

Organic Cocoa Butter Lip Balm by Badger, $5 each at Ulta

Press Sample

I have sore lips often especially in the Fall/Winter. It sucks and its not pretty. I use everything under the sun on my lips so it’s my own fault. Since I got my hands on some Badger Balm (I love saying that!) my recovery time is shorter. I love cocoa butter and this lip balm cushions my lips beautifully. These balms are everywhere in my house now and it all happened fast. I have balm on my makeup vanity, bedside so I can put some on at night, in my purse, and in the car. This is really good stuff. My lips thank you Badger….

From badgerbalm.com:

A Little Magic for your Lips! These dreamy Cocoa Butter Organic Lip Balms come in larger .25oz sticks to provide soothing rich relief for dry lips! These creamy organic lip balms feature rich, Certified Organic and Fair Trade CertifiedTM Cocoa Butter, which has the sultry fragrance of dark chocolate. Our Cocoa Butter is traditionally processed at low temperatures, allowing the butter to retain its natural, health-giving properties. Flavored with all natural steam distilled essential oils – no artificial sweeteners or fragrances. We may be a little biased, but these are some of the best lip balms we’ve ever tried! (We think you’ll probably agree.)

Directions for use: Rub lip balm stick on your dry lips and expect results! Can also be used to moisturize cuticles and other small dry patches in a pinch.

I love saturating my lips in something that is good for them. I notice a light scent (yummy chocolate!!) but no taste when wearing these balms. They go on smoothly and don’t feel sticky but your lips feel nicely cushioned and moisturized. I am so glad I have these ready for winter. If you haven’t seen any Badger Balms near you check their website store locator here. If you suffer with dry lips you need to try this. I’m so glad I did. My lips aren’t a hot mess regularly anymore and I’ve been using my Creamy Cocoa and Sweet Orange balms for over a month. You know the ones that are all over my house?

Another thing worth noting is the finish. It’s a natural not glossy look. My lips just look nice and moisturized not overly glossy. Sweet Orange and Creamy Cocoa (the flavors I tested out) have no color payoff either. Which brings me to something that you might already be wondering…this is a sure thing for MEN. My husband is getting one….just in case he needs it. Did you ever go out with a guy that had glossy lips? I have. It’s not like I could concentrate on anything he had to say over dinner as you might imagine. Yuck. The only thing worse is chapped lips. To prevent either awful scenario get one of these for a man that goes out into the world and represents you.

If you live in the United States I’d love to send SIX of these amazing balms to you. I have two sets of six (three Sweet Orange & three Creamy Cocoa per set) so there will be two lucky winners that will win a lot of balm. Enough Badger lip goodness for you and your friends!

I’m a lip balm junkie and I love EOS and Burt’s Bees original lip balm but I would love to try some Badger balm.

  2. Allison says

One of my favorite lip balms are the eos and im loving the new Walgreens version..I hear they have a Rite_Aid version too I saw in someone’s YouTube video..a pink one strawberry something..

  3. vanessa says

I don’t have a favorite, I’m currently using baby lips in quench and its helping a little bit. still on the hunt for a great lip balm.

  4. Juli H. says

I personally love eos lip balms! They are the only kind of lip balm that I use that actually gets the job done when my lips are dry or cracked. But hey, I’m always up to trying something new ;)

  5. penny says

I have heard of this brand and have never tried, but would like too.
I know they have some salves that sound awesome too.
    I love everything cocoa butter!!!
Thanks so much for the giveaway:)

I always buy Burt’s Bees Peppermint lip balm and occasionally try other Flavors by Burt’s Bees. When I branch out and try other brands, I am usually disappointed. However, this Badger Lip Balm sounds so intriguing that I would love to give it a try, especially since you so highly recommend it!

If my lips are every majorly chapped or super dry, carmex has always been my go-to. I just slather it on and any lip problem I’ve ever had seems to just go away. It is heavy to me though so I use it when I have problems with my lips or just when I go bed to ensure plenty of moisture throughout the night. Otherwise, I tend to use something like eos, at least for now because I bought the alice in wonderland set last fall that I haven’t finished yet.

  8. Patricia says

My absolute favorite chapsticks are a mixture of nyx butter balms as a base and then a light smear of blistex on top

  9. Keturah says

For me, it’s a tie between carmex (in the tub not the tube) and burt’s bees tinted lipbalm. Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. Kristen says

Lip balm is my favorite thing ever. I love EOS but honestly, good old fashioned Chapstick is my favorite right now.

  11. Titi says

I love homeoplasmine which is a french pharmacy product. My lips have never been so moisturized! Bye bye flaky lips! The only problem is that its in a tube not stick form so I still don’t have a favorite balm I can use throughout the day.

  12. Becky says

Im loving the blue EOS lip balm right now. You’re very nice to think of us and our friends to share this giveaway prize with.

  13. Erica says

M favorite lip balm is the fresh sugar lip balms in any color. They have the perfect moisturizing formula and I haven’t found anything better. The Nivea lip balms are comparable but don’t offer the same amount of moisture for my lips.

  14. Rebecca says

I love lip balms! Right now I’m using Lypsyl in vanilla plum but when my lips hurt I use Chicken Poop..the name is off putting but I found it at Academy last Christmas when I was shopping for gifts and needed something for my lips and I grabbed it. So awesome! Has so many great ingredients in it plus the scent is like a comforting herbal smell.

  15. Miriam says

My lips are always dry and chapped when I don’t have anything on them, they’ve even gotten sunburnt! I’ve been using Baby Lips in peppermint at night and it’s been helping a lot. Sugar Lip Treatment has helped a lot too. Always looking to try new balms.

  16. Andrea says

I haven’t found a staple lip care product yet. The EOS are nice, but not moisturizing enough for me…and the Burt’s Bees are good too, but a little too greasy feeling. I tried the rosebud salve but it was just colored vaseline to me lol. Not to mention the lid is IMPOSSIBLE to take off quickly. In fact, I haven’t worn it since January b/c I haven’t been able to open it lol.

  17. says

I LOVE the Jack Black lip balm. It’s amazing. I also just ordered a ton of lip balm from Kettle Pot Soap and their flavor selection is amazing!

  18. JoElla says

I really like the Lacura ones from Aldi’s. However, mine doesn’t sell the 3 pack anymore.

Been quite curious about the Badger ones.

  19. Marissa says

I love this brand as well as Baby Lips Dr. Rescue…those two have been my go to products. I have at least one with me at all times!

  20. Hollie says

My favorite lip balm is Lypsyl, the original one! It’s so great for chaped lips, and it has a nice minty smell. I’ve never tried these though! Thanks for doing a giveaway Crystal!

  21. Heather Stafford says

I have yet to find my perfect lip balm. Hopefully, these will be the ones! I have been liking the Hawaiian Trpics balm for now.

  22. says

I recently purchased the Chapstick brand because I saw it in a new flavor, “Cake Batter”… seriously, I am LOVING it!! Smells good enough to eat and makes my lips soft. Win-win!
