I love mascara and I have so many favorites. But what I want to know is…what are yours?
I have favorites from every price point. I think the great thing about mascara is that you don’t have to spend a lot to get the results that you are looking for. A $7 drugstore mascara in many cases can outperform a $30 one. In my opinion thats fantastic and exciting stuff!
What are your favorites? I have a few drugstore holy grails like L’oreal Voluminous Carbon Black and Maybelline Colossal. Then there are newer (to me) favorites like Almay Get Up and Grow and Covergirl Clump Crusher. Some mid to high end favorites are Armani Eyes to Kill Excess, YSL Faux Cils Shocking, Dior New Look, and Benefit They’re Real .
One of my new favorite combo’s is Bare Minerals Curl & Lengthen and Volumizing used together. I did a quick video on it, check it out here if you haven’t already. Bare Minerals mascaras are going to be 50% off tomorrow at Ulta (3/23-online also!!) so it’s a great time to try them out at $9 each:

I like the Clump Crusher one you recommended and my favorite so far is Lancome Hypnose. Loreal Voluminous is also a great one. I am looking to try the Benefit Its Real after I use some of my older ones.
I love Benefit’s They’re Real, I hope you like it too! Great favorites, I’m still trying to find a Lancome mascara that I like. I might have to try that new one with the sparkly tube:)
All the Dior’s mascara! They just came out a new one I need to try that… They always hold my short lashes all day long and never smudge. But they’re getting more expensive…
I love them! They have the best record of any brand in my personal opinion. I haven’t met a Dior mascara that I haven’t liked yet and I haven’t tried the new curling one (but i will!!) but so far they have the best rate of success in my book. They are expensive as hell though but the only thing I haven’t liked is the primer. That didn’t work for me.
My two favs are Clump crusher and Benefits They’re Real! I have set my alarm to be at Ulta in the morning to grab the bare minerals mascaras – Im excited! My eyelashes are really curly so I am not sure how the curl and lengthen will work for me.
Excellent! I am so ready to get some more of those tomorrow also! So many people commented on the video that they like using the Flawless Definition along with the Volumizing mascara instead so that might be an option! I haven’t tried it myself but they raved that it was their favorite look.
Ok – I wonder if there’s a limit? I might get all three!

I like Carbon Black for the first few uses and then it starts getting really clumpy on me and making my lashes gang up so it looks like I have 3 huge lashes and that’s all. I have really been liking Rimmel Scandaleyes for a while now (it’s in the bright orange, fat tube).
I love Mally’s volumizing mascara and Tarte’s lights, cameras, lashes. I haven’t tried any drugstore mascaras in a while but I have a list going of ones I want to try.
L’oreal voluminous million lashes is my holy grail!!!
I have been loving Eyeko skinny lash mascara! I have clump crusher but it hurts the bases of my lashes.. too sensitve? I also like Clinique high impact and bottom lash. I have a few unopened Mac ones that I’ve yet to try!
It’s so much trying new ones. I have to try an Eyeko one!

Paige, I am fan of all the mascaras you mentioned too.
Kat Von D’s Sinfull mascara is such an underrated product. It gives crazy volume but the lashes still feel soft, not too hard.
Some of other favorite mascaras are YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils, Diorshow, Urban Decay Skyscraper, Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes and Nars Larger Than Life volume mascara.

I have an on/off again relationship with Mally’s Volumizing Mascara. I used to like more from the drugstore. I liked them at first but the more I used them I was like negative. The main thing with the ones I listed, my lashes still feel like my lashes and not all hard. Also I like that the wands are super huge and I can really build up my lashes.
My holy grails are Lancome L’Extreme and Diorshow Extase. I haven’t found a drug store one I love only because they tend to smudge. But I will definitely try those two you spoke of.
