I usually have so much to say when I put together a skin care product review. But this one is going to be a little hard to do. I love Perricone products. But this one really hasn’t done much for my eye area and I’ve been using it since mid March. I was so excited to try this product out. I waited until I used up one of my other eye creams to get this one from QVC (on easy pay lol!) so finally after biding my time I finally had it. Now I don’t know that it is doing anything amazing for me. In fact its not. Color me disappointed.
I live for eye creams. I enjoy testing them out and in the past I have really found some great ones. My holy grail is Tarte’s Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment. That’s an eye cream that I saw results with in a record amount of time. I wish that was the case for this eye treatment but in testing it out I didn’t find that any of the claims were addressed after over two months of use.
From the QVC website:
What is it: Blue Plasma Orbital is a non-acidic, daily peel for the delicate eye area that helps to smooth and firm the skin’s appearance while delivering hydrating and brightening benefits.
Who is it for: Anyone with dull-looking skin, crepey skin texture, loss of firmness, or loss of brightness in the eye area.
Why is it different: Blue Plasma Orbital has a fresh, cooling, gel texture that is designed for 360-degree application to deliver hydrating and brightening benefits to the entire eye area. It works by performing two modes of action–Bio-specific Peeling attacks only dead surface skin cells and Hydro-fusion rebalances the skin’s hydration.
Consumer use studies reveal extraordinary results after just four weeks. 100% reported that their eye area looked resurfaced without drying out their skin; 95% felt that their makeup applied more evenly and looked smoother after using this product; 90% said this treatment combatted dullness around their eyes, leaving their skin radiant; and 85% reported that the appearance of their fine lines were reduced and the skin around their eyes appeared firmer.
How do I use it: After cleansing, Dr. Perricone recommends smoothing around the eye contour once a day. Wait a few moments and follow with an eye cream (not included), if necessary. No rinsing is needed after application.

I think part of the reason I was so excited about this is that I love Perricone’s Blue Plasma. Now thats a product that gives you quick results! I thought I’d get the same noticeable results with Blue Plasma Orbital Eye. That wasn’t the case. I didn’t notice any changes in my eye area at all. Dullness and brightness didn’t get helped out in any way and to be honest I got tired of putting this on every night and seeing no results. In fact I’ll be doing that tonight and I’m not thrilled about it.
I think that there are a ton of great products out there that I will continue to review and buy with hopeful excitement from Perricone but this one was a bust. For $60 (this stuff is not cheap!) I will finish my container just to make sure I’m not crazy. But I will continue to look for something else that will really do something for my under eye area and help with dullness and brightness!

I have a few products from Perricone and I like them especially Blue Plasma and Cold Plasma. You didn’t return this one that’s too bad. Their stuff is so expensive!
Tisha says
Have you tried Cold Plasma?
Crystal says
I sure have. I love it here’s the review in case you missed it: http://crystalis007.com/perricone-md-cold-plasma/.

This didn’t do anything for me either! I returned mine though. Such a waste!
Amy says
Did this irritate your eyes? I still want to try it but I have issues with eye products making me cry and I guess I have sensitive skin.
Crystal says
No I didn’t feel any irritation at all. Be careful when you try it!

I have to pick up the Tarte you’ve mentioned that a few times and I would love something for my undereyes.
